The systems

The techniques Oroiael computes and interprets are published and belong to their traditions and authors: the classical Jyotish corpus and its modern teachers; Human Design, referenced descriptively — Oroiael is independent and unofficial, and "Human Design" belongs to its rights-holders; the Matrix of Destiny method; and the Tarot. The syntheses built on top of them — above all Soul Arc — are original work by babushacc.

The plates

The specimen imagery on reference pages comes from public-domain plates — engraved star atlases, early tarot decks, anatomical and natural-history engravings — each credited on the page where it appears, with its source institution. The tarot plates are the 1909 Rider–Waite–Smith deck, drawn by Pamela Colman Smith — public domain, via Wikimedia Commons.

The build

Set in Spectral and IBM Plex Mono, self-hosted. Built with Astro as a fully static site; served by Cloudflare. No CMS, no database, no JavaScript framework at runtime. Charts are computed in the browser. The source of interpretive content is a research wiki maintained in Markdown.

Planetary positions are computed on your device with Astronomy Engine (MIT). City data from GeoNames, licensed under CC BY 4.0. Historical timezones come from your browser's own IANA database.
