One image, held long enough to say what it holds.
Reading
A single card is pulled against a focus set before the shuffle, one question or one thing you want to look at. Because the whole reading rests on that one image, the card works as a picture to stay with rather than a verdict to reach for. What it asks is simple: what does this hold for the thing in front of me, right now.
It is the everyday draw. A card of the day pulled in the morning, one clear question where a leaning is enough, or a single archetype taken as a subject for meditation. The card frames the question, it does not settle it. Both the upright and the reversed image belong to the reading, and a card that troubles you is still the card that came.
One card cannot tell you what happens. It can tell you what you are looking at.
Read it slowly. Let the figures, the colors, the direction of a gaze speak before you reach for a keyword, and let the image stay open longer than feels comfortable. The single card rewards attention more than any larger spread, because there is nowhere else for the reading to go.
