Sacral Authority · Deciding by the gut's live response
The gut's yes and no: when the Sacral is defined and the Solar Plexus is not, the body's in-the-moment response stands as the decision-maker, second in the authority order.
Reading
Authority is the engine’s answer to one question: when a decision matters, which part of the body gets the final word? The bodygraph resolves it mechanically, walking a fixed priority order and stopping at the first defined centre it meets. The Solar Plexus is checked first, then the Sacral, then the Spleen, then the Heart, then the G, and a chart with none of these defined falls through to a mental or lunar reading. The order ranks nothing by worth; it settles which signal drowns out the others when several could speak.
Sacral authority is what the chart lands on when the Sacral is defined and the Solar Plexus is not. That makes it the decision-body of most Generators and Manifesting Generators, the two types the system builds on a defined Sacral. It sits second because the emotional wave, when present, needs time to settle, and time overrides the instant. With no wave to wait out, the gut becomes the clock.
The gut becomes the clock.
How it speaks: in the moment, as a rising toward or a pulling back, a bodily yes or no felt before the mind has finished arguing. Practitioners describe it as the sound the belly makes, a low uh-huh or unh-unh, answering something actually in front of it. It cannot weigh a hypothetical and it will not deliberate. The gift is a truth faster than thought. The shadow is a head that talks the body out of what it already knew.
