Emotional Authority · Deciding by the Wave
The wave gives no truth in the now, so clarity belongs to the one who waits it out.
Reading
The system resolves authority as a chain of checks, reading the defined centres in a fixed order and stopping at the first one it meets. The Solar Plexus sits at the front of that queue. So whenever this motor is defined, coloured in on the bodygraph, emotional authority wins, ahead of the sacral gut, the splenic hit, the steady pull of the heart. Only the Reflector, who defines no centre at all, is exempt, and decides instead across a full lunar month.
Why first? The system reads the Solar Plexus as a wave, a slow rise and fall of feeling that tints everything passing through it. At the crest the world looks like yes; in the trough the same choice reads no. Neither reading is the truth. Practitioners hold that for an emotional being there is no clarity in the present instant, only a hope or a fear wearing clarity’s face. The dependable signal is the whole shape of the wave, felt out over hours or days, and that is why nothing faster is allowed to speak over it.
It carries no words. Its message is the settling itself: sleep on it, sit with it, let the same question return on a calmer tide and see whether the answer still holds. The gift is depth, commitments that keep because they were made slowly. The shadow is the vow sworn at the peak and mourned by morning. Emotional authority asks one patience of the person who carries it: wait for the wave to finish speaking.
