Mental Authority · Deciding out loud, in the right company

Authority is the engine settling one question: when a choice matters, which defined centre gets the last word? The bodygraph walks a fixed order and stops at the first centre it finds coloured in. Solar Plexus, then Sacral, then Spleen, then Heart, then G. Mental authority is where a chart lands when that whole queue comes up empty, the final else in the chain, everything above it undefined and only the Reflector’s lunar reading ranked below.

Mechanically this leaves a spare chart. With no motor, no Spleen and no G defined, the only centres that can still hold definition are the upper three: Head, Ajna, Throat. Those run on pressure and awareness, the machinery of questions, concepts and speech. None of them was built to decide. The system reads the awareness centres as transpersonal, tuned to process the world for everyone rather than to answer for the self, so a mind wired only there carries plenty of mental weather and no inner yes.

A mind built to think for others, asked to choose for itself.

This is the one authority the tradition sets outside the body. Practitioners hold that the person decides best by talking a choice through, out loud, with trusted people and in a room that suits them, letting the answer surface in the hearing of it. The gift is a mind left genuinely open, free to weigh a thing from every side. The shadow is deciding in isolation, from head-pressure that was never meant to choose. Its whole counsel is company: think out loud, and listen back.
