The male line and the female line are the octagram’s two diagonals, the paternal and maternal descents. Socialization is the point worked from the male result and the female result taken together, the two lines joined rather than held apart.

The Matrix reads it for how a person meets the systems around them, social and family both, and for public acceptance, the standing the world agrees to grant. The inherited lines set the terms a person carries into a room, and this point is read as how those terms meet the wider order. Held as pattern, the slope a chart runs, not a measure of a person’s worth to the world.

The reading stays with tendency. It names how a life tends to reach for its place among others, and how that place tends to be returned, without settling either in advance.
