Gate 37 sits in the Solar Plexus, the emotional motor, and gate 40 sits in the Heart, the small engine of will. The channel between them, which the system names Community, is the only wire joining those two centres, and both ends are motors. No path runs from here to the Throat, so the circuit produces energy and feeling without a voice to broadcast them. It generates the terms of a deal and the strength to keep it, the oldest arrangement a handful of people have ever made.

The two hexagrams name the halves. Gate 37 is Jiā Rén, the Family: fire below and wind above, warmth made at a hearth and carried outward, a household whose order holds because everyone keeps their word. Gate 40 is Xiè, Deliverance: thunder over water, the storm that finally breaks and clears the air, effort spent and then released to rest.

The will provides, the warmth sets the terms, and a few people become a we.

Wired together, the bodygraph reads this as belonging built on a bargain. One motor brings the labor, the other keeps the bond warm, and loyalty turns a group into something that feeds itself. Practitioners hold the gift as provision that keeps its promises, the tribe that holds. The shadow is the same deal gone sour: the provider who gives until resentment curdles it, the terms no one quite remembers agreeing to, warmth hardened into obligation. A community lasts only as long as both ends of the wire are honored.
