Cross 29 · Contagion, Commitment, Industry, three lives strung on a single sacral yes.

An incarnation cross is the fixed backdrop of a life: the Sun and Earth of birth crossed with the Sun and Earth of the design side, four gates that hold their ground while everything faster moves across them. Gate 29 anchors this family. It sits in the Sacral Centre, the seat of life force and response, and its programming partner is Gate 30, so the whole figure is strung between two elements, the deep water of the one and the clinging fire of the other.

The I Ching calls hexagram 29 K’an, the Abysmal: water pouring into a ravine, filling each hollow before it goes on. It gets through the danger by constancy, by never once stopping.

Water reaches its goal only by never once stopping.

Read into the bodygraph this becomes the sacral yes, the commitment that outlasts the mood that made it. The system holds the gift as follow-through; the shadow is the yes given too fast, to too much, until a person is under water in what they agreed to.

The three angles are three ways to live that fate. The Right Angle Cross of Contagion is a life largely about its own process, its own devotion spreading to others by example. The Juxtaposition Cross of Commitment is a fixed fate in a narrow lane: one thing, carried to the end. The Left Angle Cross of Industry turns outward, a life whose work is bound up in other people’s.

What a life says yes to becomes what it is about.
